Overview

Neglected diseases and envenoming disproportionately affect people in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in regions with tropical climates. These diseases often thrive in areas with limited access to healthcare and resources. We aim to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with neglected diseases and neglected populations through comprehensive research on their epidemiology, the clinical management of affected patients, and the exploration of new innovative approaches. We focus on training medical staff, developing treatment guidelines, and improving overall clinical care, particularly in low-resource settings and neglected aspects of medical care.
